Revolutionary high-flyer known for his acrobatic kicks and Five-Star Frog Splash, RVD peaked during his 1996-2001 ECW run where he held the Television Championship for 700 days before capturing the WWE Championship at ECW One Night Stand against John Cena. Winner of the 2006 Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 22, the only man to simultaneously hold the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and WWE Championship, and the only wrestler to hold the ECW, WWE, and TNA World Heavyweight titles in his career, Van Dam redefined mid-card positioning through pure athleticism despite constant friction with management.

After breaking both his heels during an MLW match in April 2025, Van Dam’s recovery has been going well and he is feeling better than expected, returning to intense training. Currently receiving numerous wrestling requests and considering wrestling more in 2026, RVD is scheduled to appear for a WWE World signing during WrestleMania 42 weekend on April 20 in Las Vegas.
