About Shane McMahon
Shane-O-Mac carved out one of WWE’s most unique in-ring identities — a businessman turned daredevil who held the European Championship, Hardcore Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and the 2018 WWE World Cup. Defined by his “Coast to Coast” dropkick and the death-defying “Leap of Faith” elbow, he delivered legendary performances against Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, and his own father at WrestleMania X-Seven.
His final WWE appearance came at WrestleMania 39, where he tore his quad early in an impromptu match against The Miz, forcing Snoop Dogg to replace him and finish the bout. By June 2024, McMahon was no longer contracted to WWE. Talks with AEW’s Tony Khan in summer 2024 ultimately collapsed after McMahon reportedly sought full creative control, conditions Khan declined.
