A Dragon Gate Dojo graduate who debuted in 2016 and became one of the promotion’s defining stars of the 2020s, Shun Skywalker amassed a staggering title run at the top of Dragongate — three reigns as Open the Dream Gate Champion, four as Open the Triangle Gate Champion, and one as Open the Twin Gate Champion alongside Diamante. A technician and high-flyer whose signature SSW Skywalker Moonsault Blaster became one of the most anticipated spots in puroresu, his third and final Dream Gate reign placed him in exclusive company alongside CIMA and Masaaki Mochizuki as the only three-time holders of that title.

After a decade with the company, Skywalker shocked the wrestling world on June 4, 2026, announcing his Dragongate departure during the Rainbow Gate tour at Korakuen Hall, framing his exit as “going back to the heavens.” Whether he emerges as a freelancer or lands with NJPW, NOAH, AJPW, or another major promotion remains to be confirmed.
