About Starlight Kid

Stardom’s pioneering full-time masked luchadora, Starlight Kid holds gold across nearly every tier of Stardom’s title structure — the High Speed Championship, Wonder of Stardom Championship, Goddesses of Stardom Championship, a two-time Artist of Stardom Championship, and the inaugural Future of Stardom Championship. At Stardom Dream Slam in Tokyo in March 2018, the 16-year-old won that inaugural Future of Stardom title by defeating Shiki Shibusawa in a five-woman tournament final. Her arsenal centers on the Shiranui, Sliced Bread #2, Standing Moonsault, and Twisting Frog Splash, and she has built a reputation as one of joshi’s premier high-flyers and storytellers across a career stretching back to October 2015.

On the June 13, 2026 edition of AEW Collision: Summer Blockbuster, after Tony Schiavone publicly apologized to Stardom for Thekla’s recent disrespect, Thekla interrupted and refused to back down, challenging Stardom to send their best to Forbidden Door — and Starlight Kid officially answered. The match is set as an AEW Women’s World Championship bout: Starlight Kid vs. Thekla (c) at Forbidden Door on June 28 in San Jose — their third singles meeting, with Starlight Kid entering 2-0 against Thekla and facing her in what will be the seventh defense of Thekla’s reign.
