Stevie Richards

First man to compete in an ECW match, Richards invented Big Stevie Cool and the Blue World Order, an nWo parody with Blue Meanie and Nova that became ECW’s most beloved act. He won the Hardcore Championship 21 times, fronted the Right to Censor, and proved he could carry angles despite his comedic roots. A broken neck from Terry Funk in 1997 nearly ended his career, but Richards defied doctors and returned.

Richards now hosts a podcast where he critiques WWE’s 19-championship structure, arguing the company “created all these championships to sell merchandise, and then creatively it just became bankrupt.” Most recently, he praised an AAA mask match between Ludwig Kaiser and Chad Gable at Noche de Los Grandes as the best of 2026 while calling WWE’s creative direction “soulless.”
