About Thunder Rosa

Born Melissa Cervantes in Tijuana, Mexico, Thunder Rosa debuted in 2014 and built her reputation across NWA, Impact, Lucha Underground, TJPW, and Stardom before landing in AEW. Her 2021 Unsanctioned Lights Out match against Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. at St. Patrick’s Day Slam earned PWI Match of the Year honors, and on March 16, 2022, she defeated Britt Baker to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship, cementing her as the standard-bearer of that division. She is also the founder of Mission Pro Wrestling.

Rosa signed a dual contract to work more in CMLL for the remainder of 2026 following her AEW comeback, having made her in-ring return to All Elite Wrestling in 2026 after six months on the shelf, quickly entering contention for the AEW Women’s World Championship in a bout against Thekla on the March 4th edition of Dynamite. Most recently, she has been working for both All Elite Wrestling and CMLL, with results from June 13, 2026 placing her at CMLL Sábado De Coliseo in Arena Coliseo.
