About Trey Miguel

A former TNA X-Division and World Tag Team Champion, Miguel defined his career through winning the Impact X Division Championship at Bound for Glory by defeating El Phantasmo and Steve Maclin and establishing himself as part of The Rascalz alongside Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier. He and Wentz won the Impact World Tag Team Championship on July 23 at Emergence, while his signature high-flying offense, particularly the Meteora, became the foundation of his X Division credential before his solo push. He claimed the TNA International Championship back in February, dethroning NXT’s Stacks to take the championship.

Out of action since April, when he suffered a non-displaced fracture of his patella at the Rebellion pay-per-view, Miguel is progressing toward recovery. TNA shared that Miguel could be cleared for in-ring action within six to eight weeks as of the June 11 injury report. Miguel stated that he does not need surgery for the injury, positioning him for a potential return within weeks after a brief absence that saw his TNA International Championship run end at Rebellion when he lost to Ali.
