Val Venis
About Val Venis
One of the WWF Attitude Era’s most memorable characters, “The Big Valbowski” Sean Morley spent eleven years with WWE from 1998 to 2009, capturing the Intercontinental Championship twice, the European Championship once, and the World Tag Team Championship alongside Lance Storm. He also developed serious in-ring credibility earlier in his career working CMLL in Mexico under the name Steele, winning the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship and becoming the youngest holder of the title at age 26.
Morley officially retired in 2022. Following a brief TNA stint in early 2010 — where he competed as Sean Morley and scored a win over Christopher Daniels at Genesis — he returned to the independent circuit under the Val Venis name, making occasional appearances for smaller promotions such as Elite Xtreme Wrestling and at times training wrestlers.
