About Wheeler Yuta
Wheeler Yuta is an American professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling, where he performs as a member of the Death Riders, formerly known as the Blackpool Combat Club. He is a former AEW World Trios Champion, and a former three-time ROH Pure Champion. Yuta rose through the indie ranks and joined AEW in 2021, initially with Best Friends before pivoting to the Blackpool Combat Club with Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley, earning respect through technical wrestling and a powerful submission hold, the Yuta Lock.
Yuta currently performs as a member of the Death Riders alongside Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, Marina Shafir, and Daniel Garcia. After initially conflicted over his allegiances, Yuta ultimately joined Moxley in attacking Danielson in late 2024 and turned heel once again. He remains a stalwart of AEW’s main event scene, competing across multiple promotions including Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
