Enzo Amore is reportedly on his way back to WWE. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, “there are people backstage who believe Amore signed a new deal with WWE over the last week.” The report, first surfaced in early November 2026, has since been picked up and relayed by Fightful, Ringside News, WrestleView and TPWW, though all outlets are careful to note that the belief among WWE personnel does not amount to an official company confirmation.
Per the reporting, Amore is expected to land in NXT rather than on WWE’s main roster. That destination lines up with earlier chatter from WrestleVotes, which reported at the start of October 2026 that there was “a feeling in WWE creative” the audience could be receptive to his return, suggesting the idea of bringing him back had been under internal discussion for some time before any deal materialized.
Big Cass Connection
The timing is notable given Big Cass’s own WWE comeback. Cass officially returned to the company in August 2026, and TPWW notes that he had originally been rumored to be reuniting with Amore as part of a package deal, with WWE reportedly interested in bringing the pair back together as a tag team. Instead, only Cass was brought back at that time, leaving the Amore half of that reported plan unresolved until now.
Amore, who performed in WWE as part of the Enzo & Cass tag team and later held the Cruiserweight Championship as a singles competitor, has spent recent years working the independent circuit under names including Real1 and nZo. A new deal, if confirmed, would mark his first return to WWE since his prior departure from the company.
As of publication, WWE has not issued any official statement confirming a signing, and none of the reports attribute the information to Amore himself or to a named WWE executive. The claims rest on backstage belief relayed through PWInsider’s sourcing, and the specific terms of any contract, start date, or on-screen plans remain unreported. Given the earlier reporting linking Amore’s potential return to Cass’s existing spot on the roster, any confirmed deal would likely draw renewed attention to whether WWE intends to reunite the two performers as a team, either in NXT or beyond.
