About Penta
Here is the bio for the WAW hub page:
—
A former AEW World Trios Champion, AEW World Tag Team Champion, and ROH World Tag Team Champion, Lucha Underground Champion and one half of the Lucha Brothers alongside Rey Fénix, the cero miedo movement has been built on two decades of gravity-defying aerials and the Mexican Destroyer. Penta became the first Mexican-born professional wrestler to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship when he defeated Dominik Mysterio on the March 2, 2026 episode of Raw. He then retained it in a six-man ladder match at WrestleMania 42, closing out the event’s opening hour on ESPN.
Now over 90 days into his reign, Penta has defended the title seven times, most recently beating Je’Von Evans on Raw and Ethan Page at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He’s also entered the King of the Ring tournament — where the winner earns a world title shot at SummerSlam — opening against Oba Femi, Solo Sikoa, and Carmelo Hayes in a fatal four-way. Up next: a title defense against Rey Mysterio on the June 8 Raw, set in Paris.
