/ ABOUT AXIOM

Madrid-born Carlos Ruiz spent a decade honing his craft before becoming one of WWE's most electrifying performers. Under the A-Kid name, he captured the inaugural NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship by defeating Trent Seven in the finals in November 2020. On July 5, 2022, his name was changed to Axiom, and the masked technician quickly built a reputation as a standout in NXT. As one half of Fraxiom alongside Nathan Frazer, he became a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion, also becoming the first Spanish-born person to win a championship in WWE.

Now part of the SmackDown roster as of April 25, 2025, Axiom continues to compete on the main roster. Most recently, Axiom went one-on-one with The Miz on SmackDown after The A-Lister and Kit Wilson got into a backstage altercation with Fraxiom, and per the context snippet above, he was also involved in a match with AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix on the June 12 episode of SmackDown.
