About Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes, son of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, first captured two Intercontinental Championships and six Tag Team Championships between 2007 and 2016. After reinventing himself outside WWE, The American Nightmare returned at WrestleMania 38 and won back-to-back Royal Rumbles in 2023 and 2024 before capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL by defeating Roman Reigns. His legendary Hell in a Cell rivalry with Seth Rollins showcased his toughness when he competed with a torn pectoral muscle.
CM Punk replaced Cody during a July 6 RAW show to defeat Sami Zayn and become the new Undisputed Champion, with Rhodes set to regain the title opportunity. Since his return to WWE, Cody Rhodes has been the company’s main-event star. He remains positioned as a top performer in WWE’s primary championship scene.
