The Scottish Warrior holds three WWE Championships, a World Heavyweight Championship, the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble, the 2024 Money in the Bank, and stands as the first and only British or Scottish world champion in WWE history. A festering rivalry with CM Punk defined his 2023–24 heel run, costing him the World Heavyweight Championship on multiple occasions and producing some of the most brutal matches in recent company history.

McIntyre captured his third WWE Championship on the January 9, 2026 edition of SmackDown, defeating Cody Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match with an assist from Jacob Fatu, before losing the title back to Rhodes 56 days later. He then fell to Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match at WrestleMania 42 Night One on April 18, and as of early June 2026, there are no confirmed plans for his WWE return.
