Canadian showman ELP — real name Riley Vigier — burst onto the NJPW scene in 2019 as a Bullet Club heel, immediately making his mark with back-to-back Super J-Cup victories and three IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship reigns alongside Taiji Ishimori. After being ousted from Bullet Club in 2023, he transitioned to the heavyweight division and teamed with Hikuleo, becoming a two-time Strong Openweight Tag Team Champion and one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion. A cancer diagnosis briefly sidelined him in late 2024, but he returned at Korakuen Hall in December to announce he was cancer-free and won the NJPW World Television Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 19.

He reclaimed the TV title from Great-O-Khan at NJPW Wrestling Hizen no Kuni on April 29, 2025. In June 2026, ELP has been working extensively for CMLL in Mexico as part of the NJPW partnership, defeating Barbaro Cavernario at CMLL x NJPW Fantastica Mania Mexico on June 19, and most recently appearing on the June 24 AEW Dynamite in a match against Will Ospreay ahead of Forbidden Door.
