About Kenny Omega

Known for his in-ring ability and technical prowess, Kenny Omega is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Before joining AEW in 2019, Omega established himself during his tenure in New Japan Pro-Wrestling from 2014 to 2019, holding the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. In AEW, Omega has won the world championship twice in his career, and serves as an executive vice president of the company alongside his in-ring work.
Omega defeated MJF to win the AEW World Championship on July 9, 2026, claiming his second world title reign in the promotion. He is currently scheduled to defend his title against Will Ospreay at All In 2026 at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Omega leads The Elite stable and is the current AEW World Champion, positioned among the promotion’s main event scene.
