About Leon Slater
Bradford-born phenom Leon Slater made his TNA debut in October 2023 and wasted no time cementing himself as the promotion’s most electric young commodity. At Slammiversary on July 20, 2025, Slater defeated Moose to capture the TNA X Division Championship, becoming the youngest champion in company history. He also ranked No. 53 in the PWI 500 for 2025, while holding the Undisputed British Tag Team titles in RevPro alongside Liam Slater.
His record-tying 298-day X Division reign ended when he fell short against Cedric Alexander in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match on the May 14 episode of Thursday Night Impact! Before the loss, Slater had been appearing in WWE programming through a cross-promotional agreement, defending the X Division title on NXT, and made his WWE main roster debut on the January 16 SmackDown, answering United States Champion Carmelo Hayes’ open challenge.
