About Mercedes Moné
One of the most decorated female wrestlers in history and the only woman to win championships across WWE, AEW, and NJPW, Mercedes Moné became a six-time world champion during her WWE tenure as Sasha Banks, highlighted by five Raw Women’s Championship reigns and the inaugural Women’s Tag Team Championship with Bayley. She competed in the first women’s match to headline an NXT TakeOver event, the first iron-woman match in WWE history, and the longest women’s match in WWE history at 30 minutes. After leaving WWE in 2022, she debuted for NJPW and Stardom as Mercedes Moné, becoming IWGP Women’s Champion, then signed with AEW in January 2024 and won the TBS Championship in her in-ring debut.
Currently signed to AEW, Moné holds the TBS Championship in her first reign, the longest in the title’s history, while appearing for AEW’s partners CMLL, NJPW, and its sister promotion Stardom, where she is a former IWGP Women’s Champion and former Strong Women’s Champion. She defeated Maya World at Forbidden Door to win the 2026 women’s Owen Hart Cup tournament and secure an AEW Women’s World Championship match.
