Three distinct personas — Mankind, Cactus Jack, Dude Love — and one undeniable truth: few careers in modern wrestling blended pain, character work, and emotional honesty the way Foley’s did. The first-ever WWF Hardcore Champion and a three-time WWF Champion, his 1998 Hell in a Cell against The Undertaker is widely acknowledged as the greatest Hell in a Cell match of all time. He later captured the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Lockdown 2009, his fourth world title overall. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2013.
