Mick Foley has publicly praised Megan Bayne’s performance in AEW’s Blood & Guts match, which aired as part of the November 4, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite. The WWE Hall of Famer shared a series of Instagram Stories reacting to the bloody bout, singling out Bayne for what he described as career-defining work.
According to F4W Online, Foley’s posts included snippets from the match along with his reactions, and he expressed admiration for the women involved in the Blood & Guts structure. Within those stories, Foley reportedly voiced concern for Bayne after she was left bloodied during the contest, a moment that appears to have prompted his broader praise for her performance.
Ringside News reported that this was not an isolated gesture of support from Foley toward Bayne. The outlet noted that Foley had already shown admiration for both Bayne and the Divine Dominion faction prior to Blood & Guts, and that his latest tribute amounted to him “bowing down” to her again following the match. The repeated nature of Foley’s praise suggests Bayne’s work inside the Blood & Guts cage left a notable impression on the Hall of Famer beyond a single reaction.
Blood & Guts is one of AEW’s signature gimmick matches, built around a double-cage structure that has historically been used to settle heated faction rivalries with a heightened level of physicality. The format’s brutal nature often produces standout individual performances, and Foley’s commentary frames Bayne’s showing as a highlight of the November 4 Dynamite edition.
Foley, a WWE Hall of Famer renowned for his own history with hardcore and high-risk wrestling styles, carries significant credibility when praising physical performances. His direct, public commentary on Bayne’s work, delivered through his own Instagram account rather than through a promotional outlet, adds an outside layer of validation to how her Blood & Guts performance was received.
Neither source detailed the specific finish of the Blood & Guts match, the full roster of participants, or any resulting stipulations tied to Divine Dominion’s involvement. As of the published reports, Foley’s reaction stands as the central confirmed development, with Bayne’s performance in the match cited as the catalyst for his renewed praise.
