About Ridge Holland

A former rugby league player turned professional wrestler, Ridge Holland spent seven years in WWE after signing in 2018, carving out a reputation as a hard-hitting brawler with legitimate physical presence. He made his biggest main-roster impact as part of The Brawling Brutes alongside Sheamus and Pete Dunne (Butch). His lone WWE title reign came when he and Andre Chase defeated Nathan Frazer and Axiom to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships in August 2024. Holland’s career was shadowed by a 2022 incident in which a suplex on Big E resulted in a career-ending neck injury for the former WWE Champion.

WWE did not renew Holland’s contract upon its expiration, ending his seven-year tenure; after publicly stating he “was hung out to dry,” his contract was terminated early on November 5, 2025. He briefly appeared in TNA, debuting in September 2025 and facing Mike Santana at Victory Road before suffering a Lisfranc foot injury against Moose that ended his stint there abruptly. Holland has since shared a medical update confirming clearance to return to in-ring competition from Dr. Norman Waldrop III.
