Terry Gordy
About Terry Gordy

One of the most physically imposing workers of his generation, the 6’4″ powerhouse co-founded the Fabulous Freebirds alongside Michael Hayes and Buddy Roberts in 1979, igniting legendary wars with the Von Erichs in WCCW before blazing a trail through Mid-South, the UWF, and WCW. His run in All Japan as one-half of the Miracle Violence Connection with Steve Williams produced multiple AJPW World Tag Team Title reigns and back-to-back Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship victories in 1990, cementing his status as one of the stiffest, most credible big men in the world.
Gordy passed away on July 16, 2001, at just 40 years old following a fatal heart attack caused by a blood clot. He was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 as part of the Fabulous Freebirds, and his legacy endures through his daughter Miranda, who continues to compete on the independent circuit and in Japan.
