Known as "The Idol Killer" and "The Toxic Spider," the Austrian import built her reputation in STARDOM as the driving force behind the villainous H.A.T.E. stable, openly seeking to purge joshi wrestling of its idol culture. A highlight of her STARDOM tenure came at Blood & Guts in November 2025, where Triangle of Madness — her AEW unit with Skye Blue and Julia Hart — won the first-ever women's Blood and Guts match. She capped her rise by defeating Kris Statlander in a brutal Strap Match on the February 11, 2026 episode of Dynamite to capture the AEW Women's World Championship.

Thekla retained the title at Double or Nothing on May 25, 2026, overcoming Jamie Hayter, Kris Statlander, and Hikaru Shida in a four-way match. On the June 3 Dynamite, flanked by Triangle of Madness, she cut a blistering promo revisiting her STARDOM history and the "Idol Killer" moniker — then climbed a ladder and spat directly on the STARDOM logo, a moment so incendiary that AEW's commentary team apologized on-air. Her war with her former employer is set to continue at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
