About Will Ospreay

Will Ospreay

A two-time AEW International Champion and NJPW Grand Slam and Triple Crown Champion, the Aerial Assassin built his legend through a career defined by boundary-pushing athleticism and match quality. A Wrestling Observer Wrestler of the Year and Match of the Year recipient in 2023, he also holds the record for the most five-star matches awarded by Dave Meltzer in the publication’s history. Finishing moves like the Hidden Blade, Os-Cutter, and Stormbreaker remain synonymous with a style that bridges high-flying spectacle with increasingly hard-hitting brutality.

Returning from a herniated disc injury at Revolution in March 2026, Ospreay has been on a warpath against the Death Riders. Most recently, he defeated AEW National Champion Mark Davis in a hard-fought semi-final contest on the June 3 episode of Dynamite, advancing to the final of the 2026 Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 28 in San Jose, California. The winner receives an AEW World Championship match at All In London from Wembley Stadium in August.
