Dropping out of high school at 18 to chase a career in the ring, Zayda Steel debuted on August 7, 2022, and wasted no time logging reps across 40-plus promotions — CZW, Beyond Wrestling, MLW, and Japan’s Dream Star Fighting Marigold among them. She captured the WOW Women’s Title in February 2023, making multiple successful defenses before her profile continued to rise through WWE’s ID program on the EVOLVE brand. After letting her WWE ID contract expire, she pivoted to AEW, where Christopher Daniels brought her into SkyFlight alongside Scorpio Sky and the Martin brothers.

Officially signed by Tony Khan following her January 17, 2026 Collision debut against Marina Shafir, Steel has since been a fixture on both AEW Collision and ROH programming. Most recently, she fell to three-time AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida in a vacant TBS Championship Survival of the Fittest qualifier at Collision: Summer Blockbuster on June 13, 2026, and also competed in a ROH special episode match against Marina Shafir on June 16 — keeping her busy in the thick of two major title pictures at just 22 years old.
