A 20-woman battle royal will headline the October 6, 2026 episode of WWE NXT to determine the next challenger for Kelani Jordan’s NXT Women’s Championship, according to multiple outlets including POST Wrestling, Fightful, Diva Dirt, F4W Online, eWrestlingNews and WrestleZone.
The stipulation was set in motion when NXT General Manager Robert Stone interrupted Jordan mid-gloat in the ring, informing the champion that the battle royal winner would earn a title shot against her at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 31, according to F4W Online. Stone reportedly told Jordan that the field would be drawn from across the promotion’s expanding talent pool, spanning Raw, SmackDown, NXT, AAA, EVOLVE and TNA Wrestling.
Fightful and Diva Dirt both confirmed that Ivy Nile is among the competitors announced for the battle royal, joining a mix of NXT regulars and wrestlers from outside promotions under the WWE umbrella. The cross-promotional format underscores the growing overlap between NXT and its sister brands, as well as WWE’s working relationship with TNA Wrestling.
Also on the October 6 card, POST Wrestling reported that Shiloh Hill will run it back against NARAKU in a rematch, though further details on that bout were not specified in the available reporting. eWrestlingNews additionally confirmed that the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament will continue with its first-round matches on the same episode.
With the battle royal winner set to challenge Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc on October 31, the October 6 show marks a pivotal step toward that marquee matchup as NXT builds its Halloween Havoc card.
