Night One delivered Rey Mysterio’s nostalgic showdown with Omos in front of a roaring Vegas crowd. Now Night Two arrives with the AAA Mega Championship hanging in the balance as Dominik Mysterio defends against El Grande Americano in what should be the evening’s centerpiece. AAA’s closing act needs to send fans home talking.
AAA Mega Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. El Grande Americano
Dominik’s been a credible titleholder, but El Grande Americano represents the kind of size and power advantage that can derail even the most methodical champions. This is classic David vs. Goliath lucha architecture, and if AAA wants to establish Americano as a credible threat to the division’s future, tonight’s the stage. Expect heavy-hitting matwork before the flying sequences that’ll have the crowd gasping.
WAW Pick: Dominik Mysterio — He’s the ace AAA needs right now, and they’re not pulling the trigger on Americano this early.
