NXT’s operating at cruising altitude heading into the next Premium Live Event, with the main event slot still up for grabs. Tonight’s triple threat No. 1 contender’s match between Mason Rook, Tony D’Angelo, and Saquon Shugars is the centerpiece of a card designed to keep momentum rolling and settle some scores before the next major show.
NXT Championship No. 1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match: Mason Rook vs. Tony D’Angelo vs. Saquon Shugars
Three hungry names colliding for a shot at the gold. D’Angelo’s been running the Family storyline, Rook’s got that technical Edge, and Shugars brings the explosive athleticism. This is the kind of multi-man sprint that either produces a future main eventer or a catastrophic pile-upβNXT’s built on the former.
WAW Pick: Rook escapes with the win after Shugars and D’Angelo eat a miscommunication spot down the stretch.
