Raja Jackson has been released from jail by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, according to multiple reports citing PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, who first reported the news on Tuesday, September 30.
Jackson, the son of MMA legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, was sentenced to 90 days in jail in July stemming from an incident at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event. According to F4W Online, Jackson pleaded guilty to personal infliction of great bodily harm and engaging in violent conduct, and he was also ordered to pay restitution as part of the sentencing.
The incident at the center of the case occurred when Jackson was supposed to get involved in a match at the KnokX Pro Wrestling event but instead attacked independent wrestler Stewart “Syko Stu” Smith, according to Fightful. Wrestling Headlines reported the incident took place in August 2025.
Jackson’s release closes another chapter in a case that drew widespread attention across the wrestling industry, though it remains unclear whether any further legal proceedings, such as civil litigation related to the restitution or the attack itself, will follow.
