Alex Zayne, a regular presence on ROH programming, is not currently under contract with AEW or ROH, according to a Fightful Select report.
The report states plainly that “Alex Zayne, who has regularly appeared in ROH, is not currently under contract with AEW.” Fightful noted that further details on his status are available to subscribers of its Select service.
Zayne’s lack of a formal deal comes despite his continued presence on ROH tapings, including a recent set of tapings at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida, where he worked against Adam Priest. He has also teamed with other talent on the ROH side of AEW’s umbrella during his run with the promotion.
No further details on Zayne’s long-term plans, potential future bookings, or any ongoing contract negotiations have been made public at this time.
