Pro Wrestling EVE’s Dann Read says Will Ospreay is the mind behind the Clockwork Carnage match, which is set to make its AEW debut later this month at WrestleDream with Ospreay putting his AEW World Championship on the line.
According to Read, “everything about Clockwork Carnage was created by Will Ospreay himself,” pointing to the match’s origins in Pro Wrestling EVE before it was brought over to AEW’s pay-per-view stage.
It was recently announced that the Clockwork Carnage match would be contested at WrestleDream, with Ospreay defending the AEW World Championship inside the gimmick he helped devise during his time working with Pro Wrestling EVE.
