Jonathan Coachman says he wants to devote a full episode of one of his shows to his account of WWE’s notorious 2002 “Plane Ride From Hell,” an incident that has long been a point of discussion among wrestling fans and historians.
Speaking during Tuesday’s Coach and Company stream, Coachman raised the subject while discussing London and said he was struck by Brock Lesnar’s elbow during an incident that took place on the flight, according to Wrestling Headlines.
Coachman indicated he would like to tell his side of the story in detail on Coach and Bro or another one of his programs, though he did not go into further specifics during the stream about what happened beyond the contact with Lesnar’s elbow.
The “Plane Ride From Hell” has remained a recurring topic in wrestling media in the years since, with various performers who were aboard the flight offering their own recollections over time. Coachman’s comments suggest his version of events has not yet been told in full, and he has signaled an intent to share it on a future broadcast.
