Logan Paul WWE Return Delayed Until November After Torn Triceps

Logan Paul will not be medically cleared for a WWE return until at least November as doctors insist the injured star completes a full recovery from his torn triceps.

Logan Paul’s push for an accelerated WWE return has hit a firm medical roadblock, with the former United States Champion being told he will not be cleared for physical activity until at least November.

Paul suffered a torn triceps during WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in May and has documented much of his rehabilitation on his vlog. Despite making rapid progress and recently describing himself as “semi-cleared,” WWE officials and medical staff have made it clear that the timetable for an in-ring comeback will not be rushed.

WWE shuts down Logan Paul’s early return push

In footage from Paul’s vlog, WWE producers Michael Hayes and Bruce Prichard, along with Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, addressed his desire to return sooner than originally expected. Paul also spoke with physical therapist Kevin Wilks and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Dugas while attempting to determine whether he could safely speed up the process.

The answer was effectively no.

Dugas stressed that while Paul may feel strong and his rehabilitation may appear ahead of schedule, the biological healing of the elbow remains the deciding factor. The recommended recovery period is approximately five and a half months, putting November as the earliest realistic point for clearance.

That distinction is important. Being able to train, move the arm or perform controlled rehabilitation exercises is very different from being ready to absorb the unpredictable force involved in a professional wrestling match.

What the November timeline means for WWE

The timetable removes Paul from immediate WWE plans through September and October and makes any appearance before November highly unlikely to involve physical competition.

It also creates an intriguing question around WWE’s late-year schedule. Crown Jewel is currently scheduled for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, although the event has recently been the subject of discussion following an updated U.S. travel advisory. Even if Paul reaches the minimum recovery window around that period, medical clearance would still need to come before WWE could consider an in-ring return.

WWE has increasingly treated Paul as a major-event attraction rather than a weekly roster member. His athleticism, mainstream profile and ability to slot directly into high-level programs mean the company does not need to rush him back simply to fill television time.

Paul’s long-term health takes priority

The exchange also provides a revealing look at WWE’s medical approach with one of its biggest crossover stars. Paul has openly pushed to return as quickly as possible, but the company’s officials appear unwilling to allow enthusiasm or an aggressive rehabilitation schedule to override the healing process.

A premature return from a torn triceps carries the obvious risk of reinjury and could turn a months-long absence into a significantly larger problem.

For now, the clearest takeaway is that Logan Paul’s WWE comeback should not be expected before November. His rehabilitation continues, but the final decision will be made by medical clearance rather than Paul’s preferred timetable.

That leaves WWE with several weeks to determine where Paul fits when he is finally ready — and gives Paul every incentive to make sure his next return is a lasting one.
