Roman Reigns is set to appear on WWE Monday Night Raw on November 2, with WWE confirming a loaded lineup that also includes an Intercontinental Championship defense and a six-man tag team match. According to Fightful, Reigns’ appearance was announced alongside additional matches for the broadcast.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce revealed in a Sunday preview that champion Chad Gable will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page, as reported by F4W Online. Pearce also announced a six-man tag team bout that will see Dragon Lee, Je’Von Evans and Penta team up against The Vision.
SEScoops reported that the November 2 Raw will take place in Brooklyn, with Reigns’ appearance and the newly added Intercontinental title match headlining the announced card alongside the six-man tag.
The additions follow a pair of matches already set for the show from the previous week’s episode of Raw. At the conclusion of that broadcast, a John Cena appearance was confirmed for the program, along with a match between Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa. Fightful noted that both of those segments were added before the latest round of matches involving Reigns, Gable and Page.
With Gable putting the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Page, the title picture adds another layer of stakes to an already crowded card that features Reigns and Cena both advertised to appear. The six-man tag involving Dragon Lee, Je’Von Evans and Penta against The Vision gives WWE a chance to further that ongoing rivalry on national television, while the Royce Keys-Solo Sikoa matchup rounds out an evening built around singles competition and faction warfare.
No further details on the stipulations or build toward these matches have been confirmed beyond what Pearce and WWE have announced for the November 2 show. As is typical with go-home and go-forward Raw previews, additional segments or matches could still be added before the broadcast airs.
