Report: High Ranking WWE Official Approached TKO And Went To Bat For Sheamus

Last week, news broke that long-time WWE veteran wrestler Sheamus was on his way out of the promotion after having rejected the company's proposal to renew his contract at a much less favorable restructured rate. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that an unnamed high-ranking WWE official went to TKO executives and lobbied for Sheamus to remain with the company. This individual went to bat for Sheamus by highlighting the significant value that he brings to WWE that go beyond simply his in-ring contributions.
