WWE Crown Jewel 2026 remains scheduled for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but the event’s location has reportedly become a topic of discussion inside WWE following a new United States travel advisory.
The U.S. Department of State updated its guidance for Saudi Arabia on September 15, placing the country at Level 3 and advising Americans to reconsider travel. Some areas carry stronger Level 4 “do not travel” guidance.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, via Fightful Select, the development has prompted internal discussion within WWE. Importantly, there has been no official announcement that Crown Jewel is being moved, postponed or cancelled.

As things stand, Crown Jewel is still scheduled for Saturday, November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD in Riyadh. The date itself is reportedly considered firm because WWE has a broadcast commitment to ESPN for the event.
That distinction matters. The current report concerns discussion about the location, not confirmation of a venue change. WWE has not publicly indicated that the show will leave Riyadh, and fans should treat any suggestion of a move as unconfirmed unless the company announces otherwise.
The situation is nevertheless significant because Crown Jewel is one of WWE’s major premium live events and its Saudi Arabian shows are substantial international productions involving talent, production staff, media and other personnel travelling into the country.
Why the Saudi Arabia travel advisory matters
A Level 3 advisory does not prohibit travel. It asks U.S. citizens to reconsider travel because of identified security risks. Companies operating major international events can take updated government advice into account when reviewing security, logistics and travel arrangements.
For WWE, that means there is a large difference between discussing contingencies and actually changing Crown Jewel’s location. At this stage, the former has been reported; the latter has not.
WWE announced Crown Jewel’s return to Riyadh earlier this year, continuing the company’s long-running relationship with Saudi Arabia. The 2026 event is also part of a packed international calendar as WWE continues to expand the number of premium live events staged outside the United States.

There is currently no confirmed alternative venue and no report that WWE has made a final decision to relocate the show. With the November 7 date reportedly locked in, any change would require WWE to solve a significant logistical problem while preserving its broadcast schedule.

Even without a relocation, additional security or travel measures could affect how the company prepares for the November show.
