WWE NXT returns to The CW Network tonight from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL with the remaining quarterfinal matches of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. The card also features a heated singles encounter as tension continues to build ahead of next weekend’s Halloween Havoc premium live event.
Cruz Montana vs. Dion Lennox
These two competitors have been at odds, with Lennox attacking Montana backstage on the October 13 edition of NXT, escalating their rivalry heading into tonight’s clash.
WAW Pick: Cruz Montana — momentum favors the aggressor’s target in revenge matches.
Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno vs. Vanity Project
This semifinal match of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic pits Dar and Moreno against NXT Tag Team Champions Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes), who advanced by defeating Mini Vikingo and Chazz ‘Starboy’ Hall on October 13.
WAW Pick: Vanity Project — defending tag champions rarely lose in tournament semis.
