NXT’s back on The CW tonight from Orlando, and the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is officially underway. This is the kind of tournament that historically kicks the fall season into gear—high stakes, fresh matchups, and a chance for teams to prove they belong in the title picture. The Performance Center crowd should be fired up.
La Catalina & Thea Hail vs. Kelani Jordan & Zaria
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round. Four of NXT’s most athletic women colliding in what should be a fast-paced opener. Jordan and Zaria have chemistry; Catalina and Hail are hungry.
WAW Pick: Jordan and Zaria advance, but Catalina eats the pin.
2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round: Teams TBA
The card’s still fluid on the tag front, which means WWE’s likely holding back some surprises or last-minute call-ups to fill out this bracket.
WAW Pick: Expect at least one established team to quietly be announced before bell time.
