All Elite Wrestling has confirmed the death of Benjamin Satterley, better known to fans around the world as PAC, at the age of 40. The company announced the news on Sunday night in a statement shared across its platforms.
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” the promotion said in its statement.
According to WrestleTalk, Satterley’s death came less than 24 hours after he had competed at AEW’s All Out event. No additional details regarding the circumstances of his death have been disclosed by AEW or by Satterley’s family.
Satterley was a native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and began his professional wrestling career in 2004. He went on to build a career spanning multiple continents and promotions before becoming a fixture of AEW’s roster, known to fans under the PAC persona.
Multiple wrestling outlets, including Fightful, POST Wrestling, Wrestling Headlines, eWrestlingNews and Rajah, corroborated AEW’s statement confirming his passing at age 40. None of the reports have disclosed a cause of death.
