NXT has a proper loaded card tonight: a 20-woman battle royal with Halloween Havoc stakes, two Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic matches and two singles feuds ready to boil over. This is exactly what Clash Card should be – the confirmed card, the stakes, and WAW’s call before the bell.
20-Woman Battle Royal – NXT Women’s Championship No. 1 Contender
Arianna Grace vs. Layla Diggs vs. Indi Hartwell vs. Xia Brookside vs. M by Elegance vs. Heather By Elegance vs. Ivy Nile vs. Kiana James vs. Adelicious vs. Lady Shani vs. Lizzy Rain vs. Thea Hail vs. Skylar Rae vs. Zaria vs. Izzi Dame vs. Kali Armstrong vs. Reina Volcan vs. Nikkita Lyons vs. Chantel Monroe vs. La Catalina.
The winner gets Kelani Jordan at Halloween Havoc. Reina Volcan already put the champion on notice last week, which makes her the obvious chaos candidate in a field stacked across NXT, Raw, SmackDown, TNA, AAA and EVOLVE.
WAW Pick: Reina Volcan.
Shiloh Hill vs. Naraku
This is a rematch with unfinished business rather than a random TV pairing. Hill has been dragged deeper into Naraku’s world for weeks, and the cleanest next step is giving him the win without ending the feud.
WAW Pick: Shiloh Hill.
Zilla Fatu vs. Lexis King
Fatu made this one personal after BirthRight kept him away from the NXT Title open challenge. King can make it ugly, but NXT has been presenting Fatu like a problem the roster still hasn’t solved.
WAW Pick: Zilla Fatu.
Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux vs. Tokyo Bad Boys
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
The Dusty Classic keeps moving, and this is a chance for Legacy and Van Dux to turn recent momentum into an actual tournament run. Tokyo Bad Boys give the bracket a different style and make this less predictable than it looks.
WAW Pick: Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux.
Hank & Tank vs. Viktor Zanov & Shido Ash
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
Hank & Tank have the established chemistry, while Zanov and Ash arrive with the kind of tournament opportunity that can change their standing in one night.
WAW Pick: Hank & Tank.
The battle royal is the hook, but the Dusty Classic is the longer-term story. If NXT gives those tournament matches room, tonight can feel bigger than a one-week stop on the road to Halloween Havoc.
