Cruz Montana has officially aligned himself with The 946, inserting himself into the faction’s escalating war with The Bloodline during the November 2, 2026 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. Montana’s interference came during a match between Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys, which ended in disqualification once The 946 flooded the ring and a brawl broke out.
According to NoDQ, the Sikoa-Keys matchup was the catalyst for the chaos, with the finish getting thrown out as members of The 946 stormed the ring to even the odds against The Bloodline. POST Wrestling reported that Montana, an NXT talent, directly assisted the group in the ensuing brawl, marking his first notable appearance aligned with the faction on the main roster.
Montana’s arrival adds another body to a group that has been steadily recruiting NXT talent to combat The Bloodline’s numbers advantage. WrestleTalk noted that Royce Keys returned to Raw three weeks after being taken out by Jacob Fatu in the aftermath of SummerSlam, and he did not come back alone. Keys arrived alongside NXT call-ups Bronco Nima and Lucien, setting the stage for The 946 to reinforce its ranks ahead of further confrontations with Sikoa’s crew.
The timing of Montana’s addition is notable given the proximity to WWE Survivor Series: War Games. With The 946 and The Bloodline trading numbers advantages across recent weeks, the recruitment of NXT talent like Montana, Nima, and Lucien suggests WWE is building toward a larger-scale confrontation between the two factions, with the War Games match structure built specifically to accommodate multi-person team warfare.
The disqualification finish to the Sikoa-Keys match leaves that individual rivalry unresolved, but the larger story is the continued escalation between the two factions. Keys’ return following his absence after being attacked by Jacob Fatu, combined with the influx of new 946 recruits, points to a faction war that has grown well beyond a single match and is now shaping the build toward Survivor Series.
WWE has not detailed further plans for The 946’s roster or confirmed a War Games lineup, but the events of the November 2 Raw indicate both sides are stacking numbers in anticipation of that showdown.
