WWE’s bringing three worlds together in Chicago tonight, but the real collision might be between fan expectations and whatever streaming infrastructure WWE actually sorted out after that Illinois venue fiasco. Main roster talent, AAA stars, and NXT’s best will share the same card β a rare alignment that doesn’t happen often enough to be routine but often enough that WWE’s treating it like a mid-tier special. The intrigue isn’t whether WWE can pull it off; it’s what weird dream matchups they’re actually running.

Without confirmed card details in the build-up, we’re working blind here β which is honestly fitting for an event WWE bungled the marketing for. Expect main-event-level NXT talent (think Gigi Dolin, Axiom, or Trick Williams level), AAA’s genuinely top-tier workers mixing with whoever WWE’s throwing at them from the main roster’s midcard-to-upper-card range.
WAW Pick: NXT Talent β They’re on home turf (developmentally speaking) and AAA workers, while excellent, don’t carry WWE’s political weight.
WWE quietly uses this to trial a NXT-to-main-roster call-up the crowd didn’t expect. The crossover format gives them cover to debut someone without the usual TV apparatus β smart shield for testing new main-event talent.
