Josiah Jean has signed with WWE ID, the promotion’s developmental pipeline program for independent talent. The contract was presented to him by Booker T, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer who runs the Reality of Wrestling promotion and works as an NXT commentator.
According to Fightful, Booker T appeared during Reality of Wrestling’s show on October 3 and offered Jean the WWE ID contract on the spot. The moment was shared on social media, with a post noting, “BREAKING…. @ItsJeanRock was just presented a WWE ID contract by @BookerT5x at @TheOfficialROW!”
WWE ID is designed to give independent wrestlers access to WWE resources, training and exposure while allowing them to continue competing outside the company. Jean’s signing adds him to that growing roster of talent identified through the program, with Reality of Wrestling serving as the backdrop for the announcement given Booker T’s ties to the promotion.
