Jon Moxley has a new challenger for the AEW Continental Championship. AEW announced during Dynamite Grand Slam France that Moxley will defend the title against Mark Davis at AEW WrestleDream on October 17.
The match was set up by the results of a tag team bout earlier in the Grand Slam France broadcast, which saw Davis team with Jake Doyle against Moxley and Gabe Kidd. Davis scored the pinfall on Kidd to pick up the win for his team, and that deciding fall earned him the shot at Moxley’s title.
With the challenge now official, Moxley will put the AEW Continental Championship on the line against Davis when AEW WrestleDream takes place on October 17.
