LA Knight Rejects Notion Roman Reigns Is Out of His League Ahead of Money in the Bank Title Clash

With a World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns set for Money in the Bank, LA Knight is pushing back on the idea that Reigns operates on an untouchable level, while commentator Jonathan Coachman argues Knight should walk out with the title.

LA Knight is challenging the narrative that Roman Reigns is simply in a different stratosphere than the rest of the WWE roster. Ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship match against Reigns at Money in the Bank, Knight made clear he does not accept the idea that Reigns is operating on some untouchable level above him, according to Ringside News.

Ringside News reported that Knight gave Reigns credit for everything he has accomplished, but still pushed back on the suggestion that Reigns is simply out of his league heading into their title match.

The comments arrive as the debate over a potential Knight title victory has gained traction elsewhere in wrestling media. Jonathan Coachman said he believes Knight should defeat Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship, according to Wrestling Headlines. Coachman argued that Knight’s weekly television presence would give WWE more consistent value from holding the title, while Reigns would remain a major attraction with or without the championship. Wrestling Headlines noted it had previously reported that a possible Knight title win had already been discussed within wrestling circles.

Neither Knight’s comments nor Coachman’s remarks confirm how the Money in the Bank match will be decided, and no outcome has been reported. The match is set to take place at the Money in the Bank event, with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line between Reigns and Knight.
