Cody Rhodes has a message for wrestling fans picking apart who did and didn’t publicly honor Benjamin Satterley, known to wrestling audiences as PAC, following his death — stop keeping score.
According to Ringside News, the WWE star made clear that Satterley’s passing should not be turned into another online contest in which fans compare tributes, keep receipts on who posted what, and judge who cared enough based on social media activity.
Rhodes’ comments come amid a wave of tributes from across the wrestling industry following PAC’s death, with some fans reportedly scrutinizing which wrestlers and personalities had and had not publicly acknowledged him.
The report does not detail the specific cause of Satterley’s death or additional comments Rhodes may have made beyond his appeal for fans to let the tributes stand without turning them into a competition.
