Bronson Reed says he is fully on board with the current version of The Vision, though he admits one element of the stable’s dynamic still feels out of place to him: Paul Heyman’s alliance with the group. Reed addressed the topic directly, stating that the only “weird thing” about the faction as it stands has been Heyman’s involvement.
Reed’s comments come after he returned to action at the beginning of September 2026, rejoining his Vision stablemates following time away. Since his return, Reed has resumed his place alongside Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker in the faction, which has continued to operate with Heyman attached in an advisory capacity.
Heyman’s relationship with the group has fluctuated over the past several months, described by Fightful as alternating between hot and cold stretches rather than a fixed, stable arrangement. That inconsistency appears to be the root of the unease Reed expressed, even as he otherwise voiced enthusiasm for the group’s current makeup and direction.
Austin Theory and The Vision’s Curse
In a separate comment reported by Fightful, Reed addressed Austin Theory’s standing with the group, revealing he has personally told Theory to “stay as safe as possible” in order to avoid falling victim to what has been referred to as The Vision’s curse. That phrase traces back to the group’s history of injuries and setbacks tied to its members, a pattern that began after The Vision successfully convinced the WWE roster that Seth Rollins was injured, allowing him to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
Since that angle played out, Rollins, Breakker, Reed and other members connected to the stable have been associated with the so-called curse narrative. Reed’s warning to Theory suggests the group remains conscious of that reputation and wants to avoid further disruption as it continues operating as a unit within WWE’s current storyline landscape.
Neither Fightful report includes additional detail on specific matches, title plans or further comments from Heyman, Rollins, Breakker or Theory regarding these remarks, and WWE has not issued separate confirmation beyond what Reed stated.
