Shayna Baszler has officially signed with TNA Wrestling, with the news first broken by the former WWE star herself before the promotion confirmed the signing on social media.
Baszler revealed the deal during a conversation with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture. Shortly after that interview was published, TNA followed with its own announcement, crediting Salcedo’s report and confirming that Baszler is now part of the roster.
According to Ringside News, Baszler indicated that her arrival in TNA was not a one-off appearance, noting that she signed with the company because she was confident she would win championship gold at Bound For Glory and would therefore need to remain to defend the title. Baszler captured the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles at that event, a victory that, by her own account, factored into her decision to commit to the promotion on a longer-term basis.
The combination of a title win and a signed contract gives TNA an immediate storyline anchor for its Knockouts tag division, with Baszler now expected to defend the championship as a signed member of the roster rather than a guest attraction. Her move represents one of the more notable free-agent signings for TNA this year, bringing a decorated former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and multi-time titleholder into the promotion’s title picture.
Specific details of her contract terms, length, or upcoming title defenses have not been disclosed by either Baszler or TNA. What has been confirmed is the core sequence of events: Baszler won the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles at Bound For Glory, she subsequently told Denise Salcedo that she had signed with TNA, and the company then made the signing official through its own social media announcement.
The signing closes the loop on what had been an open question following her title victory, confirming that Baszler’s run in TNA extends beyond a single appearance and into a formal, ongoing commitment to the promotion.
