Darby Allin paid tribute to the late Benjamin Satterley, known to wrestling fans as PAC, during his entrance at CMLL’s Día de Muertos event on October 30, 2026, at Arena México in Mexico City. The AEW TNT Champion had PAC’s ring name written on a skateboard as he made his way to the ring, a gesture that resonated with the evening’s traditional Mexican holiday honoring the deceased.
Allin’s tribute preceded his singles match against CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Hechicero, one of the headline attractions on the Día de Muertos card. Hechicero won the bout, successfully defending his status as the promotion’s top champion on a night that also featured the finals of the Rey del Inframundo tournament.
The show, broadcast on CMLL’s YouTube Channel through a membership tier, also showcased Mina Shirakawa and Soberano Jr. in other featured attractions, according to Fightful’s results coverage. The Día de Muertos event has become a signature annual showcase for CMLL, drawing international talent to Arena México during the holiday period that commemorates deceased loved ones across Mexico.
Allin’s decision to honor PAC in this setting carries particular weight given the symbolism of the Día de Muertos tradition itself, which centers on remembering and celebrating those who have passed. By displaying Satterley’s ring name on his entrance skateboard, Allin ensured that PAC’s legacy was acknowledged on a stage far from his more familiar surroundings in AEW and the independent scene, reaching a CMLL audience at one of Mexican wrestling’s most storied venues.
The loss to Hechicero does not affect Allin’s AEW TNT Championship, as the match was contested under CMLL’s banner and did not involve Allin’s AEW title. Hechicero’s victory keeps his CMLL World Heavyweight Championship reign intact heading away from the Día de Muertos show, while further details on CMLL’s Rey del Inframundo tournament finals and the broader card were included in Fightful’s full results report from the event.
