Speaking on Something To Wrestle, JBL said he will not be at the event and indicated that commentary will instead be added in post-production.
According to Fightful, JBL stated, “I’m not going to be there. We’re,” before the discussion turned to how the broadcast will actually be handled. Reports from Fightful, eWrestlingNews and 411Mania all indicate that JBL said he was told the show would be called in post rather than live on-site.
The comments add to weeks of uncertainty surrounding AAA Worlds Collide, as WWE and AAA have yet to officially announce where fans will be able to watch the event.
